HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR RITUAL BRACELET
Veronika shares some Tips & Tricks for the care of your
Ritual Bracelet.
There are several things that will increase the longevity of your bracelet. We offer the following suggestions to maintain its quality, strength, and appearance.
- We recommend that you remove your bracelet before working with your hands in dirt, oils, grease, etc. Although the hardware can take water and long hours of wear, it does collect dirt. Regularly inspect your Ritual Bracelet for build up of dirt and follow our simple cleaning instructions to help return your bracelet to a shine. We have included a cleaning cloth with your purchase.
- It is also recommended that you remove your bracelet before working with hand tools or other machinery because of the potential for the charm to get accidentally caught. Wearing your bracelet on your non-dominant wrist may also help in preventing it from getting tangled on something.
- When moving the charm assembly, we recommend that you remove the bracelet completely from your wrist to do so. We have found that this reduces the amount of tension placed on the wire and glass spacer beads as you're moving it from one position to the next.
Your bracelet also comes with three additional red thread ties so that you can replace your worn thread and/or tie a new thread to the bracelet. You can decide to create your own time frame for your chosen practice. Referring back to the diagram for how to move your Ritual charm/bead assembly will allow you to determine where to tie a new red thread at your specified interval (7 days, 10 days, 21 days, etc).
If your red thread tie becomes too dirty, or you simply want a fresh look, carefully remove the existing tie by cutting at the knot gently with a pair of scissors. A small drop or all-purpose glue is useful is helping to keep it from loosening on you,
